Glass Lotus – Part 2

A few years ago I was introduced to Depression Era glass by a neighbor whose father was an antique dealer. He had left her several single pieces from sets and she had decided to sell them in a garage sale. I was very fortunate to obtain several beautifully colored glass pieces which I adore for the colorful hues and intensity. Since then every once in a while I find a piece in a thrift store and add it to my collection. I do not have a way to display them but they are wonderful props for my pictures. This bowl I photographed was a Salvation Army find and when the light hits it the colors seems to sparkle and dance with vibrancy.
