Through the Window

My cat Junior’s behavior alerted me to look out the window. To my surprise, I happened to see the resident squirrels enjoying some dry fruit. Taking a picture was rather a challenge as they climbed, and ran up and down the trees so fast. I was lucky to have my camera near-by and to find in my cat somebody who also enjoys nature’s delights.

Misty Mountains

“Mountains, according to the angle of view, the season, the time of day, the beholder’s frame of mind, or any one thing, can effectively change their appearance. Thus, it is essential to recognize that we can never know more than one side, one small aspect of a mountain.”

Haruki Murakami, A Wild Sheep Chase
